As a soon-to-be MBA, jaded from consulting experience, let me give one piece of advice. Screw any "rankings" or "best places" to work lists. Most are completed and submitted by the companies themselves with no checks, vetting, or due diligence. Research the kind of company you want to work for, interview and learn about their culture, and ignore the headlines about people joining or leaving in droves. The most important thing is to find a company that is a good fit and will value your contribution. That may or may not be at whatever "hot company of the month" the valley press is fellating at the moment.
