Try working through something like the official React tutorial, but try to incorporate how you would have accomplished the steps by using the Design Recipe at every step.
I would wait until after you have worked through HtDP, though. And if you haven't learned vanilla Javascript yet, I would work through Eloquent Javascript after finishing HtDP, incorporating the Design Recipe in the same way.
- juniusfree 8y agoThanks you! I actually started with vanilla JS and also tried react. But there seem to be a big gap in my skills when it comes to actually building a program. I'm still in the first week of the course but I'm more enlightened already. But I'm still trying to make sense how I can apply it to JS/React. I think I'll just wait until I finish the course.
