I’ve spent a fair amount of time architecting my software to be able to set a flag and instead of processing a full typical run lasting several hours of compute it processes a subset in minutes or seconds. It’s not as clean as a Jupiter notebook but it’s much more repeatable than working in a notebook. I have a hard time maintaining discipline in a notebook and therefore don’t find them very useful
