I rode my first Bird in Pacific Beach last week. They don't exist where I live. I just assumed that those trucks were contracted by the company somehow. I didn't know this whole charging economy existed. I also saw a few drunken (or angry) [or both] people smash up a few of them as they walked down the street. I'd like to know how many they lose in this way.
