I'm nervous about the effect that losing this will have on people. How many people have you heard stories about where they "dropped out" for a couple of months

I'm nervous about the effect that losing this will have on people. How many people have you heard stories about where they "dropped out" for a couple of months/years and came back with a completely different view on life? What are the people who otherwise would have dropped out to recollect going to do in a world where you literally cannot escape "real life"?
