This is like Zuck’s infamous VR tour of hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico, but worse because Zuck for all his faults does not maintain a public image as an enlightened tech guru.
On the plus side, a big part of spiritual practice involves taming the ego. So hopefully Dorsey will learn something from this and emerge as a better leader.

- mindgam3 8y agoMarc Benioff is an interesting counter example. He seems to be fairly woke these days as per his advocacy for the SF homelessness tax hike. Perhaps he too was tone deaf in an earlier incarnation, but I don’t recall any noteworthy gaffes.
