OpenShift is great for this. For something like a ruby application I can just run `oc new-app .` and I get by current application built, deployed and available externally. All with full kubernetes support. (OpenShift uses https://github.com/openshift/source-to-image https://github.com/openshift/source-to-image which works like CF buildpacks)
