What artificially increased labor supply? If anything, I see companies bemoaning the absence of sufficient labor. The only place I see too many people for too few jobs is in low-skilled manual labor and service. The ratio of people to jobs falls in these areas as a consequence of technological advancements. Not to say that isn't a problem, but it's hardly a nefarious conspiracy.
