Hasn't getting a compatible machine set up been one of the most difficult parts? I've never tried BSD outside of a FreeBSD VM for tinkering (though I'd like to) – has general HW compatibility improved?
- setquk 8y agoI’ve never had a problem with it myself even on mid range kit (DL580 sized)
- rhinoceraptor 8y agoIt seems to run best if you have all Intel for the CPU, networking and graphics, and your machine is at least a year or two old. I would assume Thinkpads are the best supported hardware.
