For example, part of the argument over the feature being termed autopilot has been that it supports misleading statements from salespeople—the least "semantic" issue with the name I am aware of. A feature designed to assist in life-or-death situations shouldn't be named in a Darwinian way, harming those who assume more than should be assumed.
