- tooltalk 8y agoUghg, what the previous poster is insinuating is that she wasn't arrested because she's the daughter of Huawei CEO, but because of her role as CFO of the company violating US sanction.
- projectramo 8y agoI would be very curious to know if there were other high level executives (C-suite) who were not arrested when they entered a country (not just Canada) with whom the US has an extradition treaty. That would resolve the question of whether she was arrested solely because of her role as CFO, or if it was also an attempt to send a personal message. I assume that is what is being discussed.
