GitLab declines applications very quickly without any detail. I of course understand that their may be some department of labor politics involved "Don't tell the applicant the reason" but it sure is disappointing. My advice? Be careful with the apply with LinkedIn button. It probably makes the application look ridiculous and unworthy of a decent reply.

Input like this is invaluable to us so that we are able to improve our candidate experience for everyone. Unfortunately we're not able to give feedback to every applicant, as we receive hundreds of applications each day. We always let applicants know if we won't be moving forward, and our goal is to one day be able to give feedback to everyone. Thankfully, our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse, integrates really well with LinkedIn and shows us applicants' full LinkedIn profiles.
