- laumars 8y ago> make it look like a working system. That's the important bit; not the technology. The fact "it look[s] like a working system" is proof enough that it is a simulator. I think sometimes people expect too much on HN.
- welly 8y ago> just a pile of carefully crafted CSS, HTML and JavaScript to make it look like a working system. So, in other words, it's simulating a working system.
- Annatar 8y agoNo, a simulation has to actually run. This is just a cheap gimmick.
- welly 8y agoApparently you have no idea what a simulator is.
- Annatar 8y agoI've spent years working on computational fluid dynamics software which can simulate different things. You don't know what you're talking about, insinuating that this AmigaOS lookalike webshit is a simulator, but that's okay, you are neither the first nor the last.
- welly 8y agoI'm going to hazard a guess that English isn't your first language then, because by all definitions a simulator is exactly what this is.
- Annatar 8y agoYour guess is now twice wrong, and the website in question is webshit, not a simulator. It doesn't simulate anything. I've clearly demonstrated in my original post that there is no working system, and I even documented step-by-step the proof of that, so why the hell are you still arguing? Have you actually tried following the steps which I documented?
