It’s a self fulfilling prophecy, quitting any social network because you think it will make you happier probably will.
- dwaltrip 8y agoIt very likely has a real effect for some people, beyond just placebo.
- matte_black 8y agoOnly way to know is to get people who are actively using social networks and aren’t thinking about quitting to just quit for no reason. Chances are you probably won’t see any change in happiness, just a change in habits.
- im3w1l 8y agoThat would be a fascinating experiment to perform if experimenters could get compliance.
