Thats essentially what apple’s “retina display” definition is, isn’t it? Assuming whatever reasonable distance, a minimum ppi that doesn’t allow seeing individual pixels, gives you the apple line’s retina screens (I forget the actual numbers they use)
- jobigoud 8y agoWhat GP is saying is that there is no minimal reasonable distance, just like in real life. I would say the minimal reasonable distance is the minimal focus distance of a single eye, a few centimeters.
