I've never seen an 8k tv before, but the difference between 1080 and 4k is night and day to me. But I still have a 1080p tv. The amount of 4k content , let alone the amount of 1080p content(with my iptv) isn't that good.

Well, even a supposedly full HD movie on a BluRay disc will show a lot of grain which you do not care to see.
