I found it odd that he wanted to pay the host to completely lie about their experience with a product. I thought that violates FTC rules.
- tptacek 8y agoThe FTC requires the sponsor relationship to be explicit, which, on podcasts, it always is.

- lawnchair_larry 8y agoUnderstood, but even if it's conspicuous, an endorser cannot lie about their experience with a product. Ahrefs included a sample script that was exactly that.
