I wonder if the folks defending Apple by referencing the "cheap $30 battery replacement fee" knew this was just a temporary response to the outrage. The new price ($50-70) still isn't too bad, but that's still a 140-230% increase in the price you have to pay for Apple to not slow down your device on purpose.

- Stratoscope 8y agoThat doesn't get you a new battery with longer life, it just lets you run down your old battery faster.
