That might be sticker price, but I'm seeing the Bolt in Massachusetts for more like $32,000 before subsidies with the upgrades you mention: https://drivegreen.

So after subsidies prices end up at something like $22,000 vs. $37,000 -- it's a real gap.
- mikeash 8y agoInteresting, looks similar here in the DC area, if cars.com is to be believed. Goes to show how much worse (or, at least, less appealing) the Bolt is, if it’s being so heavily discounted and is still barely selling.
- rohit2412 8y agoWow the conversation went from "these cars are highly desirable, and GM doesn't want to sell them" to "these cars are shit, but a Tesla". I don't understand Elon musk fanclub
- mikeash 8y agoI never said they were highly desirable or that GM doesn’t want to sell them. It’s normal for different people to have different opinions.
- spectrum1234 8y agoTesla doesn't make ugly as fuck cars. Thats a huge reason I love my Model 3. Best looking car that exists in my opinion. Car companies: stop making disgusting hunks of metal.
