It's the secret of living in places like Alabama. I know people who work in tech remote and live in these places making large salaries.

  I'd think if you work remote, traffic isn't a big concern :) I worked out of Toronto for about 2 years as a food safety inspector, which meant driving around all day. It was horrible. Traffic is so draining to your moral.
