Part of the downvotes may have been due to this inclusion:

...which is going to turn off some people, while others will consider it an unnecessary political tangent.
- scotty79 8y agoThat's just an idea. I just think it should not be part of normal government budget because it could increase goverment spending for usual stuff and when that's increased it hardly ever goes down.
- noarchy 8y agoWhy would the universal income spending be any different?
- scotty79 8y agoIt might be different because there's no BI yet. BI is simple so the rules can be written to be simple too. Like setting up fund and spending on basic income not a fixed amount but last years fund income instead so the fund never gives away more than it earns.
