Presumably ~1/3 less power means AWS gets a better margin on these.
- rbanffy 8y agoPossibly. If your workload is IO bound, the various offloads to accelerators will be much better for you than a faster, hungrier CPU that'll do more NOPs waiting for the rest of the machine to catch up than a spartan ARM core.
