- marcus_holmes 8y agoCambodia is exempt from almost all copyright laws (deliberately, not as a tax-haven thing). If you want to write "illegal" fan-fic, just publish it in Cambodia. Whether it's moral to do that, against the wishes of the original author, is another matter. Legal and moral are not the same thing.
