I did like how "grufties" are labelled as fans of "The Cure", but also death cults.
- SideburnsOfDoom 8y agoPlug "Gruftie" into google translate, German to English, and you get "Goth". "Fans of The Cure and death" is close enough. As I found out at the museum of communism on Leipzig, "Gruftie" means something like "graveyard creature", "crypt kid", etc. In other words, slang term for a Gothic.
