So when one chooses a platform/OS (or even if one is looking from afar- as I don't seen any claim by OP that they are using Windows 10), they have no right to complain about it? I don't understand this type of argument.

They can complain, however, this complaint is mostly pointless as he is already informed by software licence agreement, aka results matter more than intentions.
