  Well, the open source movement has been a good start. The people playing with the structure of the underlying economic system are far more interesting to me than the people introducing new monetary technologies. Then again, perhaps I have read too many of Ian Banks 'Culture' novels. "Money is a sign of poverty", being one of the Culture's sayings.
