https://github.com/pytroll/satpy https://github.com/pytroll/satpy would be a better link. Thanks for posting this, as it gave me some interesting ideas for a project I am working on.
- mistrial9 8y ago`Copyright (c) 2009-2017` see you in 2022
- enzanki_ars 8y agoNot sure I understand what you mean by that. Also, as of this comment, I see this on the github page: `Latest commit by djhoese about 8 hours ago`
- jniedrauer 8y agoThey mean that it has a closed license until 2022. Either they are objecting to GPLv3 or they don't understand open source licenses.
- black-tea 8y agoWhat's significant about 2022?

- mindcrime 8y agoHuh, what? The LICENSE file clearly says the project is under GPL. Copyright notice doesn't conflict with that. In fact, the whole idea of "copyleft" used in the GPL is based on traditional copyright. What exactly are you trying to say?
- dang 8y agoOk, we changed to that from https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/pytroll/8OS5WD8RBY4 https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/pytroll/8OS5WD8RBY4.
