The word 'reversed' implies a cure. It is more accurate to say that T2 diabetes can be successfully managed through diet.
Diet does not reverse changes in the pancreas that cause T2 diabetes.
- pixl97 8y agoWhy dont we reverse causation. "Acting like a stationary sugar dumpster causes T2. When you stop acting like a stationary sugar dumpster the symptoms of T2 go away".
- darpa_escapee 8y agoIt isn't that simple and it's unnecessarily inflammatory. A diet with a healthy amount of carbs from fruit, vegetables and grains may never trigger T2 diabetes in a healthy person. That same diet could kill someone with T2 diabetes who isn't managing their condition with medication.
