Clearly a misdiagnosis, but the title is hyperbole. You don't fix 'critically low' potassium with 'just bananas', and this woman should have received IVs, possibly at an accelerated rate needing intensive care monitoring. Lets not spin this awful misdiagnosis away into some fruitarian nightmare.
- a012 8y agoAFAIK potassium is contained mostly in banana peels, so eating banana wouldn't helpful in the case.
