If DX mattered to developers then we'd all still be using Rails. But generally the reaction I get when I highlight DX as a reason to pick technology is a misguided and masochistic "pick the right tool for the job" mentality. I would love to see developers prioritizing themselves better. But they don't, themselves, do this.
