This post really articulated something I've been thinking a lot about lately. It's taken a long time for me to realize that I should trust my gut more.
However, the description about how we learn language is completely wrong.
- alokm 16y agoI agree about learning of language. Initially we learn words by examples. We associate foreign words and sentences with the one we know. Afterwards we need to know the grammar and all but first we build a vocabulary. And we have a pretty good intuition of the grammar before actually reading it.
