What sort of speed hit will you take developing on a Linux VM? I’m thinking of heading that way.
- Macha 8y agoIt depends. I used a similar setup for a while, and the performance overhead of the VM was less than the impact of the endpoint protection software intercepting file access when developing directly on the Mac. Very noticeable on stuff like watching JS files or IDE indexing.
