- ColinWright 8y agoWhile I agree that the "Spaced Repetition" technique is phenomenally powerful - I've used it to memorise Ozymandias, the entire periodic table, English Regnal dates, and more - there is very little point in memorising what the symbol "is" (that's a signum, that's a small delta) because what a symbol "means" changes from discipline to disciple, paper to paper, and author to author.
