Can a company really publish names and images of someone like this, accusing them of criminal behaviour without due process? It sounds like it would violate so many laws... GDPR in Europe... defamation suits in the US...
- _jal 8y agoIn the US at least, due process doesn't constrain private actors. Like the First Amendment, it only applies to the state. Sure, the person could sue (I'm only talking about the US, still), but one can file suit over anything.
