Seconding this, have you ever been evaluated for ADD/ADHD? If you feel like you are constantly failing to achieve your potential, can't focus on one thing long enough to be successful, intimidated by hard work/the grind, find simple but boring things like remembering to do chores difficult, you may be dealing with this issue. Speak to a doctor about it (even though it's scary - do it! You'll be glad you did if this describes you). Here is a link where people talk about what it's like: https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-know-if-I-really-have-ADHD-ADD https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-know-if-I-really-have-ADHD-AD...
- Saderen 8y agoI visited a psychologist recently, she told me that because I didn't exhibit many symptoms when I was younger I probably do not. The loosing things around and lack of situational awarness is something that doesn't resonate with me at all. I'm more of a massive procrastinator, though. So I do not know. Thanks for the link, it was really interesting to read other people's experiences!
