How about this? Write an autopilot module to take inputs from altimeters, airspeed instruments, compasses, gyros, GPS, and user input. Give outputs suitable for controlling ailerons, elevator, rudder, and throttles. Extra credit: deploy it in an airliner. :-) :-)
