How are you improving the world with this "oh well" response? How come you just accept what "will happen anyway", but can't accept a person taking it more seriously than you? Nothing just "happens", people do it. Taking a stand and enjoying life aren't contradictions, to the contrary, taking a stand is an expression of vitality.
