This shocks me. Here is this man who is clearly a complete novice in international politics, economics and history. He says that we should make rogue countries “feel guilty” for developing malicious ai implementations. He hand-waves away the military as simpletons who “act on duty” like a f*king high school student. When confronted with the existential threats of ai he launches into an analysis of African visa process and “inclusivity.” This is complete and utter garbage. Worst of all he talks about reaching general, human-like ai without ever mentioning that it is basically an automatic extinction level event for human kind. Preventing general ai is extremely important and anyone who wants to form some kind of group to encourage regulation and legislation around ai please get in touch with me.
