It helps if everyone's work is public and planned ahead of time. That way everyone knows what you're supposed to be accomplishing and they also know whether it is being accomplished. There should be no room for doubt about quality if the work is peer reviewed. If having alphabetized socks keeps you happier in your space, then that's a good thing, right? :)
