Coincidentally, many of the folks not bothering with a driver's license don't know even the most basic traffic rules, yet move in traffic with their bikes... to their own (and others) detriment.
- usrusr 8y agoAnd yet many of them know more about the rules applying to cycling than most drivers. A cyclist rolling through a red light is fully aware of its meaning, licence or not. Many drivers who cut off a cyclist while turning however seem to have a deeply rooted misbelief that somehow a turning car would have precedence over a cyclist going straight. The licensing requirement is surprisingly ineffective.
