I don't get that either, seems like the ideal way to get rid of it. Cheap, secure and with negligible impact on people or the environment.
- pjc50 8y agoThe more dangerous stuff is both chemically toxic and bio-accumulative. The ban on dumping chemical waste at sea was instituted (after pressure from Greenpeace) because in certain areas it was starting to breach safe levels for human consumption.
