It's ridiculous how much plastic goes into each Blue Apron box. I was on Blue Apron for a couple months until I realized how damaging it is for the environment vs me just going out there and purchasing the ingredients myself. Wasting ingredients can be solved with better planning of meals and grocery shopping. Blue Apron is just the lazy way of getting around doing that. Those plastic containers to hold the ingredients and spices though, leave a near permanent negative footprint on the environment
