For a few countries (The Netherlands and The United States for example) we have official entities that employ people. I for example am employed by the Dutch entity, meaning my salary and taxes are handled like any other Dutch employer. Outside of these countries we employ employees as contractors, meaning they have to do the taxes and such themselves if I'm not mistaken.
