So far, bugs in medical devices have been documented that have led to death or physical damage. Bad radiation doses, retina burning laser powers, etc. Given that most of those devices run on MS-Windows, I'm still more worried about bugs than attacks, but indeed it would be trivial for bad guys to target you if you need to be hooked on such devices...
- rbanffy 8y agoImagine, for instance, manipulating medical images to make a prominent politician (and their doctors) believe they have a dangerous tumor in their amygdala, making them undergo radiotherapy that fries half their amygdala, turning that politician into a liberal.
