I think that the languages used by people who voted for "Other" are the most interesting to see in this context.
Could you please post what language you're using in your project if you use a language that is not listed?
I use Erlang.
- gordonguthrie 16y agoMe too
- nadam 16y agoScala
- agentcoops 16y agoAnother vote for Scala (plus Ruby, R and Javascript).
- retroryan 16y agoand another for scala! What web frameworks, if any are you using?
- jamwt 16y agoYep, some Scala at Bump, too.
- leif 16y agoMy "other" was for clojure and sh.
- silentbicycle 16y agoI use an in-house language and Lua at work, mostly Lua and C for my personal projects, and, after getting really into Erlang earlier this year, I've been learning the Erlang platform (OTP, etc). I've dabbled in a lot of languages, but those seem to be the ones I've settled on lately.
- rg3 16y agoI spend a lot of time programming in Ada 83 in my day job. The software has to do with air traffic control. I also voted C, C++, Perl and Python. In my personal projects Python is the dominating language, but I also write a lot of shell scripts in both my personal projects and day job.
