Why even encourage them? Assuming that most of them will vote Democrat?

- mcculley 8y agoMaybe I misinterpreted your reply. I thought you were implying that people who might not participate are more likely to be Democrats and that is why I should not encourage them. I am an independent. I have no party affiliation. I desire to reduce the power of the parties. Even if I were to choose a party, I want more participation, regardless of party. Many are cynical like you. This creates a feedback loop where people are more likely to be cynical. I am exploring ways to improve that.
