To me, it suggests that this is just a more controversial post than all-but-one other frontpage post; not necessarily more agreed with. The majority of posts that I've read, and certainly the more up-voted, seem to be those disagreeing (at least in part) with the OP. Edit: it's entirely possible I misread "points" for "posts", so ignore this entirely.
