This is in no way a defense of Tesla's on-site medical facility's policy of not calling 911 without authorization, but the location of Tesla (U.S.A) is not somehow responsible for draconian policies, nor is it fair to assume that if Tesla operated in the EU, such policies wouldn't exist. FYI - from the way the article paints it, Tesla's policies are in clear violation of U.S. law.
