Why isn't there an Uber for ambulances yet? Seems like cutting out the dispatcher middle man for the closest available would be valuable.

- moate 8y agoAlso, where are all these privately owned gypsy ambulances that would be signing up for this service? You'd need fleets of rando EMT's just trolling around towns hoping they're going to be the closest to an emergency. The reason independent ambulances work is because they have a central dispatch to make sure things get evened out across the board.
