What I don't understand is that you basically use an embedded map with a marker. But this remains free under the new pricing (I am using it on some of my projects) both on mobile and desktop, see there: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/embed/usage-and-billing https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/embed/usage... https://mapsplatformtransition.withgoogle.com/calculator https://mapsplatformtransition.withgoogle.com/calculator So what were you paying for?

My understanding this works only for addresses and places, many of our customers want to move the marker around because default mapping doesn't reflect the location of their venue (ship, museum entry, backyard,...). Will add this clarification and your links to the article if site works again though, thanks. [Also currently not online are maps with search results, we removed to cut costs but will add back again]
